An activity that I will always remember at Blossom Wood is going on travel expeditions becausewe got to spend time out of the classroom, learning and still with your friends having a wonderful time and the annual balloon lift off.
I know that teachers cared about me at Blossom Wood because I know they cared because if you were having a problem with something they would take the time out to help you.
The best thing about being a Blossom Wood student was the small classes, the opportunity to travel to different places, and the opportunity to dance in school programs and our play.
Blossom Wood prepared me for later learning years by teaching me good study habits and encouraging me to do my best and work hard.

An activity that I will always remember at Blossom Wood is Career Day. Through this activity, students were instructed to dress as a person in the profession that they would like to pursue in the future. Although this exercise may seem trivial and cliche to a child, it actually caused me to think about my future and what I wanted to do, allowing me to set goals. Career Day instilled a zeal to succeed in order to achieve my goals, which still remains today.
I know that teachers cared about me at Blossom Wood because they did not allow me to be average. Blossom Wood strives to cultivate its students into high achievers that are at their full potential. The rigorous curriculum showed me that I could be something if I worked hard and when I left to continue my education, I saw what a difference that it made. I was ahead of the class and on a road to success, all because someone cared enough to challenge me.
The best thing about being a Blossom Wood student was the acceptance to family from home. Although Blossom Wood does focus on a challenging education, the importance of creating a community is not sacrificed by any means necessary. With a small population, students are able to form a long-lasting bond, which for me, still exists long after attending.
Blossom Wood prepared me for later learning years by teaching me how to deal with and manage work. Since I was used to dealing with the challenging curriculum of Blossom Wood from kindergarten I was will prepared for a rigorous future. This preparation allows someone to succeed as they progress through school.

An activity that I will always remember at Blossom Wood is taking field trips because we went to different museums and even to the Symphony. I will remember this the most because of all of the culture and history we were able to learn about.
I know that teachers cared about me at Blossom Wood because they always inspired me to do my best and if I didn’t they would encourage me to do better.
The best thing about being a Blossom Wood student was since it was a small school, it was family-oriented and everyone got along and everyone helped each other to do better.
Blossom Wood prepared me for later learning years by teaching me that community services is very important and can set you up for greater opportunities in the future.

Blossom Wood helped me to grow as a parent by challenging me to partner with the school in the academic and social development of my child. Blossom Wood also taught me as a parent to understand the holistic approach to my child’s development. I is not just dropping your child off, and picking them up, but actually participating in you child’s learning process. We reinforce what is taught in the classroom, lunchroom and playtime at home and we participate in the many activities planned for the children. Blossom Wood even allows the parents to plan some of the activities for the children, and for the school which in turn benefits the children. Children love to see their parents working/participating around the school. It encourages them to participate.
The impact of attending Blossom Wood for my child has been undeniably remarkable. Candace attended Blossom Wood from Pre-school to six grade and we are more than pleased with the education she received. Candace maintained honor roll status at Blossom Wood for the majority years she attended and has achieved honor roll status at her current school. Her transition into a new school environment went very will and I can’t help but to credit and thank Blossom Wood for that.
The exposure of the travel expedition afforded Candace to visit many museums, landmarks of different cities, historical sites, famous restaurants, and four star and above lodging while traveling has more than heightened her expectations when planning family trips. And last but certainly not the least, Candace developed a heart for giving through the annual giving tree, the baking and delivering cookie and sandwiches to the homeless and serving her community as a bagger at the local Shop and Save. Candace is a well rounded person because of the education and nurturing she received as a student at Blossom Wood.
I found the quality of the academic education at Blossom Wood to be above average as well as the expectations of the staff. Candace received homework as a three year old, which set the tone for good study habits for the following years.
The Abecca Curriculum is a thriving and challenging curriculum and I feel it well prepared Candace for junior high school along with the other extra-curricula courses she received, such as Spanish and band and performances in plays and dance. Blossom Wood recognized Candace’s strong areas and challenged her even more in those areas as well. This is a direct result of the small class sizes and individualized attention given.
My child continues to be connected with Blossom Wood by volunteering to assist at the school when she has time off from her school and we as a family consider ourselves part of the Blossom Wood family. We will continue to partner with Blossom Wood for the advancement of the school.
